Eric Wanner, DPT, received his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, and his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from The University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio. Dr. Wanner is a board-certified clinical specialist in orthopaedic physical therapy through the American Board of Physical Therapy. He holds a certification as a clinical instructor through the APTA and has been certified in dry needling since 2021. Dr. Wanner is TPI medical level 2 certified and OnBaseU certified.
Eric Wanner, DPT, has 25 publications and also has a vast amount of experience working with professional athletes including: baseball players from the Astros, Yankees, Twins, Giants, Nationals, Mariners, Orioles, Pirates, Marlins; golfers from the PGA tour, LIV tour, PGA Champions tour; pro tennis players; All Star MLS players; professional figure skater from Disney on Ice; NFL player from the Broncos; top ten Nike athletes.
Dr. Wanner wrestled at The Ohio State University before having to stop after his fourth knee surgery, which led him to turn physical therapy into his profession. Dr. Wanner brings more than 15 years of extensive experience in physical therapy. Prior to founding Peak Performance & Recovery, he served as the Director of the Physical Therapy Department at Palm Beach Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center for 11 years.
